Thermoplastics are polymers that can be melted and recast almost indefinitely.
We use the following polymers:
Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene
- tough, heat resistant, recastable
- used in pipe systems, automotive parts and kitchen appliances
Polyethylene
- high level ductility, impact resistance, recyclability
- used in plastic containers and bags
Polycarbonate
- resistant to breaking
- used for greenhouses, eyewear lenses, medical devices, automotive components and phones
Polyamide
- high level stability, resistant to abrasion, impact and chemicals
- used in medical products, automotive products and sports equipment
High Impact Polystyrene
- low cost, has good dimensional stability and rigidity
- used for food packaging
Polypropylene
- flexible, high melting point, high resistance to stress and cracking
- used in utensils, athletic apparel, area rugs and automotive parts
