This two-step process (molding an insert and then overmolding the insert) makes it possible to manufacture a product composed of two materials: either 2 plastics, or a plastic + an insert, Steel, Stainless steel, or other.
The choice of materials to be overmold is very important, they must be compatible with each other to allow good adhesion.
The molding process of the 2 steps is complex but mastered by our know-how and our production tools.
The tools must be perfectly produced with very precise machining tolerances necessary for the good quality of the product.
